Add-On Domain
An add-on domain is a domain which is added on to another parent domain. This domain acts like a subdomain of the parent domain in the directory structure, but can still be viewed by pointing the browser to the actual domain. It shares the same bandwidth, cPanel and server space as the parent domain.
Tip: Add-on domains are an excellent way to have more than one domain, but with one cPanel and login.
Bandwidth
Bandwidth refers to how much data is sent over a network or modem connection. Bandwidth works kind of like a highway -- the highway itself is the network connection and the cars are the data. The wider the highway, the more cars can travel on it. The same goes for data -- the more bandwidth available, the more data can be transferred. For hosting plans at Surnaturelle, the bandwidth limit is reset on the first day of every month; so, if you use 98% of your bandwidth during one month, on the first day of the next month, this will reset back to 0.
Tip: Larger files take up more bandwidth. Saving image files as optimized .jpg or .gif files can decrease the amount of bandwidth they take up. Files such as .psd and .png files take up more bandwidth.
